Afterschool Coalition of Indianapolis (ACI) strives to promote more after school programs in Indianapolis.  Many parts of our community lack safe, educational programs for our children and youth.  Thus, we need to create new after school programs in underserved communities of our city.

The Afterschool Coalition of Indianapolis (ACI) is in its 13th year in Indianapolis supporting children and youth. Through collaborative efforts, the Afterschool Coalition of Indianapolis supports the strategic planning, development, and expansion of quality, affordable afterschool and summer learning programs for children and families throughout central Indiana.

 We invite every afterschool program provider, or aspiring provider, to take an active part in ACI.  ACI is an umbrella organization, providing bi-monthly General Networking programs.

ACI sponsors programs that provide an opportunity to network as well as to hear guest speakers, who present providers with information that updates and supports after school initiatives.

In October of each year, ACI, with the support of the Afterschool Alliance presents "Lights On Afterschool" to the Indianapolis community. This year will be the 13th year to Celebrate "Lights On Afterschool" in Indianapolis.

Our children need to be able to awaken their creative juices by being introduced to the world of work and opportunities beyond high school.  ACI is aware of this need by supporting field trips to universities and exploring career opportunities.
